What to expect from an osteopathic video call appointment with TOMClinic:

We will discuss with you the reason that you have sought osteopathic treatment.

If appropriate, your osteopath will ask you to do some standing/sitting/walking observations to assess your posture and movement.

We will then discuss with you what they observe and will then advise and guide you on your posture, stretches, movement exercises, positions to adopt for relief, hydrotherapy applications, and if appropriate, self massage techniques.

What our patients say about video call appointments:

“I saw (virtually) Stuart today. I nearly didn’t book the Skype session as couldn’t see how it would help without being hands on.  I was wrong – Stuart in 15 minutes was able to help me with two areas of pain and talked me through and showed me stretches and pressure points to release tight muscles.  I am so glad I booked and can totally endorse this service.  Thanks Deborah and Stuart.”

“What fantastic service in such unprecedented times, no matter the situation Stuart and Deborah have been brilliant.  The Skype osteopathy appointment definitely works and is extremely helpful. Stuart showed me techniques to work on and also stretches and relaxation techniques.  His advise was 100%!  Thankyou to all.”

“I have a chronic back condition and do not do the things perhaps I should, so half an hour of a video call appointment with Stuart today will keep me going and unless things change, I will have another session in a months time.”

“Regular appointment with Stuart today – except it was via Zoom – wasn’t at all sure how it would work. Enjoyed the usual catch up with Stuart. Then to where my back hurt? Told him and soon we were doing exercises and twists together – well he was at the clinic and I was in my kitchen!! It was very easy to follow and soon I was walking round the kitchen to see if I felt better – definitely did- so thank you Stuart and I promise I will continue with the exercises!! See you next month.”

“I had my first appointment for my son with Laura via Skype videocall. At first I was a bit concerned with how it would work, however Laura was amazing, very professional and friendly. She made me and my 7 year old son feel very comfortable and we enjoyed this new experience. She certainly exceeded my expectations. I also can’t forget to say how lovely Deborah was at arranging the video call. It was easy and simple. I would highly recommend a video call appointment with Laura. Thank you Laura and Deborah for being brilliant.”
