Osteomyologists are members The Association of Osteomyologists a respected organisation that encompasses a wide variety of alternative practitioners. All registered members follow lawful, ethical guidelines, are fully qualified and partake in continuing professional development.

The Association has grown out of the common belief that, being qualified in a variety of techniques and having them at their disposal leads to a multi-disciplined practitioners, who are therefore able to adapt treatments for different conditions and individuals circumstances.

What will the treatment involve?

As an Osteomyologist Deborah uses a variety of techniques from her extensive clinical training and experience to treat both the symptoms and the root cause of a complaint to alleviate symptoms and prevent reoccurrence whenever possible. Deborah’s approach is holistic, treating the individual as a whole, which means treatment for long-term and repetitive problems is particularly effective.

Osteomyologists are multi-disciplined practitioners, who are therefore able to adapt treatments that they are qualified in, for different conditions and individuals circumstances. Deborah holds a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathic Medicine, a Diploma in Osteopathy, a Diploma in Naturopathy, a BSc (Hons) in Human Biology, a practitioner certificate in NLP, a practitioner certificate in Hypnotherapy and a Mental Health First Aid Certificate. She has further undergone Trauma Informed training along with a wide range of continued professional development.

Osteomyology encourages the skilled use of a variety of techniques and exercise advice to affect an improvement and to reduce symptoms. Not all Osteomyologists will use all of these techniques, only those with the relevant qualifications. When necessary, an Osteomyologist will refer you to other professionals including your GP and Consultant specialists.

Many private health insurance companies and hospital funds now cover treatment by qualified and experienced practitioners.
